| That was a great fight + a great explanation. Hisoka's power can be easily understood because of the great explanation. In the 1999 version, the explanation was short which cause (probably) most of the audiences to not understand Hisoka's power completely. Hisoka is flirting with Machi, I could see that! (Proof: he want to have dinner with her) Machi's hair and eye colors have changed just like Ponzu. But her color change has a greater contrast than Ponzu's color change. Hisoka is so unpredictable, even the Spiders did not know that Hisoka is just 'pretending' to be a member! In the 1999 version, Hisoka is cleary hitting on Machi!  |

| Hisoka destroyed Kastro! That wasn't a fair fight hahaha! This was the first time Machi was shown. Her nen abilities are very unique and useful. The way she sow Hisoka's arm together was art. I fell in love with her the first time I saw that. Like she could make a great nurse. 5/5 |

| While I wasn't a huge fan of the lengthy explanation, it was somewhat interesting nonetheless. Hisoka really is a badass! And goddamn, I never thought a naked clown could be that hot. Leave it to Hisoka to make clowns badass! |

| Hisoka's fight wasn't only full of mysterious and incredible showmanship, it was actually also full of ingenious tactics that considered every single factor present in the battle! The methods to his madness were so intricate that I was left speechless as he explained how he won in great detail. The Nen Stitching procedure was also impressive to behold. Who knew that the Creepy Clown was such a ravishingly handsome guy without the make up and the hairdo. It's almost as important a revelation as his Phantom Brigade Masquerade~ |

| Lol that "math magic" trick was so dumb. It's simply a bloated expression for the number one. Anyway Hisoka is OPOP so his fights might end up being pretty boring. I guess the methodology can be interesting. I expected more from the battle tower. Based on the conversation with the nurse girl, I'm not even sure if the story will go in a direction that will have us engaging with the floor masters, but maybe they will actually be strong. Maybe I was just expecting more out of Kastro. He was apparently physically strong enough to stand a chance, but his mental fortitude was pitiful. Dude basically caved in on himself the second Hisoka starts fighting back. It's clear he's not very educated if he got fooled by that math magic. |

| i don't know about other people but the fight was awesome and i hope it'' keep that way, the fact that the fight was explained gives the impression of no fights of dragon ball type. wonder though the meaning of the end. |

| I die a little inside every time a shounen anime stops dead in its tracks to explain a fight scene to me. Like the first time I had to watch a two-episode fight full of standing around and monologuing wasn't enough. |
